何を購入したのだろう？

インターネットを利用し有名になったCCミュージシャンJonathan Coultonが新曲をリリースした。

I’m stealing from all sorts of places of course, there’s more than a little Tally Hall influence, some Queen in there, maybe a little Jeff Lynne, and the bridge makes me think of XTC so much that I fear I may discover it’s a direct lift of something and I just haven’t realized yet (in which case, sorry Andy!).

曲の解説で（強調は引用者による）ここまで書かれてしまうとポップ好きの私としては居ても立ってもいられなくなり、早速サイトに飛び、ダウンロードしつつ試聴してみた。

このスクリーンショットにあるように、"stream it"して、"download it free"して、非常に気に入ったので、じゃあ"buy it"だなと購入して楽曲をダウンロードした。

デスクトップに2つのMP3ファイルが並ぶ。

全く同じファイル*1。違うのはファイル名だけ。ちなみに、フリーでダウンロードしたのが右側、ペイしてダウンロードしたのが左側。

はて…私は何を『購入』したのだろう？
